Meet The Team

My name is Amanda Meagher and I am the General Manager at World of Golf. I took over as GM in September of 2018 after working here for three years. I joined the staff in 2015 as a putt-putt employee and who knew three years later I would take over this position?! I am thrilled to be a part of World of Golf with my awesome staff, many of which I have been working with for quite some time. I have also had the opportunity to meet hundreds of customers, many of which have become familiar faces that I see on a regular basis. I am a 2014 graduate of Notre Dame Academy and a 2018 graduate of Northern Kentucky University where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Electronic Media Broadcasting. As a college student studying journalism, I never imagined myself working at a golf course until the opportunity was presented to me.

Aside from daily operations, I love to plan events for various organizations and groups in our area. If you are looking to plan an event with us, I would love to help! Having a passion for sports since a young age, it was only natural that my education and career would lead me to it. I have worked in many different sporting arenas, in some cases literally, but no matter where I am, I have a desire to challenge myself. That is why, while sitting in the General Manager chair at World of Golf with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Business and Event Management in my pocket; I decided to walk away. I moved to London, England to earn my Master’s Degree in Sports Management and experience sports through a different lens. Now, with two degrees in my pocket, I am excited to use my experiences to better shape the sporting world.
